kinda' reminds me of that rumour that Hotmail (post-acquisition by Microsoft) refused to switch from BSD to Windows until Windows wasn't hot garbage then the Windows NT kernel was born and it was less terrible but GitHub here didn't refuse to switch to Azure ... :P

It’s kind of unavoidable when you get acquired by a big cloud provider. They just throw money at you to make the migration work
