Do you need real analysis for #ML? 🤔 I say: No. Great #MLEngineers I’ve worked with learned math on the job. A linguist colleague picked up so much math in his first year that he was teaching me—and I have a master’s in Physics! 🌌 #CareerGrowth

Tools like #PyTorch and #TensorFlow abstract away a lot of complexity. You don’t need to master every concept before starting. I didn’t fully grasp gradient descent until I hit a real-world problem with a model that wouldn’t converge. Context matters. 🌱

My advice for aspiring MLEs: 💪 Start small. 🛠 Build something. 📖 Learn as you go. Gatekeeping with infinite “prereqs” just keeps people out. The real key? Learn how to learn. 🚀 What do YOU think? 👇 #AI #ML #TechTwitter #CareerAdvice

Terrific advice in my opinion. We live in a world now that you can get completely overwhelmed with how much there is to learn. But truly the best learning in any computer engineering (in my opinion) is by DOING! And failing, and figuring out why you failed.
