Introducing the Intended Location Tracker! Command has needed computer vision and a ball tracking unit. Now it takes two taps and a phone. Chart where a pitch was meant to go and where it actually finished, and the gap between them becomes a report.

Two taps per pitch. Tap where the glove was set. Tap where the ball crossed the plate. That is the whole input. The distance between those two points is command, measured in feet, on every pitch you chart.

How far does he miss, and does he miss the same way twice? The Command tab gives a median miss in feet per pitch type, the share that finished within a foot, and how much those misses agree on a direction.

The report will not name a miss direction until it has earned the right to. Direction stays blank until the misses agree strongly enough to beat chance, because two pitches pointing the same way is a coincidence, not a pattern.

Every landing spot falls into one of four attack zones: heart, shadow, chase, waste. The Location tab splits them by pitch type, by count, and by batter hand, so you see where an arm lives and where it leaks.

It works in the pen, too. Bullpen mode takes the same two taps with no batter and no count, and the report drops the tabs that would have had nothing in them. Command does not need a hitter standing in.
