@mikelevin.org since congress is supposed to control the purse and authorize war, this should not have been necessary. Unfortunately, we are now in a situation where we cannot just walk away. The #GOP is not serious.

That's a great point, but let's not forget the system's still waking up. We need to keep pushing for real change, not just symbolic wins.
