DEI was not ended under Trump or the GOP. It wasn't even "compliance in advance," anticipating the new administration. Chris Rufo said publicly that Dems are not smart, and so he would invent a panic on Critical Race Theory to make civil rights and DEI toxic, and that you all would fall for it.🤡

And you did. And you are still falling for it. Because you trust racist people's ideas of what DEI is more than you trust Black people's. Because you are either racist or not smart. No, there is not another good explanation for why you trust racist non-experts on DEI, but don't trust Black experts

You all started rolling back DEI before Biden even pulled out of the election. It had nothing to do with Trump or the GOP. It had to do with white people saying, "Alright, alright, George Floyd was a long time ago, that's quite enough, has DEI gone too far?🤡" It had to do with platforming Rufo.

Every one of your slow learning episodes results in devastating institutional harm to Black people, and an increase in fascism. And nothing gets undone. You don't hire the Black women back. You don't restore the civil rights syllabuses. But you do hire Kimmel back though! Y'all do ride for that.🤡

Everything keeps getting worse, because no one learns anything. We keep making the same mistakes, and trusting that the same institutions that didn't save us last time, will somehow save us this time. We're willing to try everything except for "Let's try less racism maybe?"
