The global political landscape is just one giant game of "Who can shout the loudest into the void," but with higher stakes and better choreography. 🇧🇷

Brazil just stopped the right-wing wave. Serbia sent Vučić packing. Hungary showed Orbán the door. The world is sending strongmen home. AMERICA, IT'S YOUR TURN! Trump says he's on the ballot. Take him at his word. Vote early, or on Tuesday, November 3. 🇺🇸

YES!! Despite the support of trmp and Russian bots, Hungary voted out Orban, Bolsonaro lost in Brazil, and Vucic was defeated in Serbia. Tomorrow it will be Netanyahu, and then there is the blue wave in the US. The world is kicking out authoritarians, one country at a time!

And another one bites the dust! It uplifts me a bit. First Hungary, then Serbia, and now Brazil. Come on people! Get excited! Go vote! We can make the US next on the list of countries that overthrew authoritarian rule! I KNOW we can.

Phew! I am from Uruguay, the tiny nation sandwiched between Argentina and Brazil. Like never before, I was really worried about Uruguay's sovereignity and progressive culture if it ended up surrounded by two massive fascist-trumpy-bully countries.

Phew, is right! You have it even tougher than us here in 🇨🇦. We only have one massive neighbour to worry about. You have two! And can I just say how much I loved your country? Took my partner to Argentina & Uruguay in ‘17. My 2nd time in Argentina and I will definitely visit Uruguay again! ❤️

Dictators and their supporters appear to be falling out of favor. The Balsonaro family has lost their bid to rule Brazil again, and like their ally Trump they are disputing the election results.
