I'm trying to be calm headed about this, but it's really easy to see in other nations that when the only people who can afford to live are party loyalists and supporters in the military and police, things are bad. It's literally bribing bodyguards.

The us could get something right and actually encourage loyalty by forgiving student loans or something, but what we really excel at is shooting ourselves in the feet
