We need to share something important about Mautic's financial situation and what we're doing about it. 🧵 Earlier this year, re-budgeting and membership changes created a $50k revenue gap. For an open source project on lean margins, that's significant.

We've built a recovery plan, cut costs, and refocused on high-impact initiatives. We're executing methodically. We just need runway to implement it. Today we launched a fundraiser: minimum $40k, goal $60k, by end of March. We have $2,800 in matched funding.

Most marketing automation platforms are built on surveillance. Track everything, own your data, lock you in. Mautic works differently. Privacy-respecting, self-hostable, extensible. You control your data. You're never locked in.

If we don't support privacy-respecting alternatives, surveillance capitalism becomes the only option. Supporting Mautic means supporting infrastructure that makes different choices possible.
