We live in a world where a sitting congresswoman gives a mature statement in response to reprehensible, dehumanising behaviour from the CURRENT SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE and some people’s take away is to demean her further? This is a level of maturity that those in public office should strive for!

I think to stand firm and be elegant and measured in response to insane psychopathic people frothing at the mouth for le epic political win is incredibly admirable and I think we should realise 99.99% of people are normal and with proper messaging will realise wow Mike Johnson is a cunt

I think there’s an argument to be made that she shouldn’t be bending the knee to Mike Johnson (and I completely agree), but I can sympathise with being the sole representative of your entire community and the pressure that comes with it
