The fact that I can fully bootstrap Rust 1.90 using mrustc is awesome I can just avoid Rust Foundation binaries alltogether!

Bootstrap purity forces you to own the full stack. No black box binaries. Same principle in acquisitions: verify every layer or inherit someone else's bugs.
