Beast of Reincarnation has been completed! Game Freak had a lot to prove with this project: have they been slaves to the Pokemon machine, or are their shortcomings a result of their own doing? The end result is a mixed bag. It has a lot of great ideas, but is held back in its execution. (1/2)

Designs of the world and creatures are beautiful. The combat and traversal feel really good and satisfying. However, the writing is amateur, dialogue sounds like its done by AI. There are only a handful of enemies and bosses and they get recycled the entire game. All the loot feels pointless.
