i built abnt (are.na blocks new tab). it's a little chrome extension that replaces your new tab with @are.na blocks from your chosen channels. link → exa.ee/abnt

I’ll see if there’s a way to make it work with Safari, but I can’t guarantee it can be released on the App Store, since Apple charges developers a registration fee that I might not be able to afford 💸

it’s a way to bring up the blocks you’ve connected that you might have forgotten. every time i browse a long channel, i realize how easy it is to overlook older blocks, so this felt like a good way for them to resurface in a new tab.

you can also choose to show your bookmarks in the header. (the browser’s “show bookmarks only on new tab” option doesn’t work with custom pages, so i just built that part in.)
