Are you able to start the live activity remotely without the user opening the app? We've been struggling to get that to work

Nope, as I don’t need this feature. From what I’ve read, it looks like it’s doable with ActivityKit APNs. And this is requiring you to obtain a push token from ActivityKit, which expo-notification pkg cannot do!
