That’s a good one. I believe it can be an accessibility issue since some screen reader can be quite long to put the focus on flash / alert / notification elements

That's a good call out! The timeout time can easily be increased to address this. Also some flash messages might not be super important, in which case missing them is alright (there are many toasts that I miss in a variety of apps bc my attention is elsewhere, for example)
