Hi there! 👋 I'm Reuven, and I've been teaching #Python and Pandas around the world since 1995. Just about every day, my students ask great questions. I love sharing those questions (and my answers), along with other resources to help you improve your Python/Pandas fluency.

I share content elsewhere, too: • My weekly newsletter about Python (betterdevelopersweekly.com) • YouTube (youtube.com/reuvenlerner) • Bamboo Weekly, weekly Pandas problems based on current events (bambooweekly.com)

I'm also a frequent conference speaker. Some of my best-known talks are: — Practical Decorators, PyCon '19: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjHp... — Function Dissection Lab, PyCon '20: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR9W... — The PyArrow revolution in Pandas, EuroPython '24: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxiD...

I'm a big believer in exercises and practice as a way to improve your skills. I've written two books of practice problems via @manningbooks.bsky.social : : — Python Workout, PythonWorkout.com — Pandas Workout, PandasWorkout.com Each has 200 exercises to improve your fluency.

I teach classes to companies around the world, including Apple, Cisco, and Western Digital. I also offer a wide variety of courses via a subscription program at lernerpython.com. Subscribers get not only courses, but also office hours (ask me anything!), access to our Discord, and private lectures.

Finally, some personal info:I graduated from MIT with a degree in CS ('92) and I have a PhD in learning sciences from Northwestern. I was born and raised in the US, but have lived in Israel since '95.I'm married, with three children, and enjoy reading, walking, and travel.
