I wrote some #ziglang that uses an allocator, got it to compile, and now I'm learning about lifetimes and where I need to deinit(). 😅 It's funny, I'm really drawn to #rustlang for reasons like the tool chain, but really struggled to feel productive. Zig feels productive but without the toolchain.

Instead of leetcode I suggest you to do Advent of Code problems in Zig. And maybe try to make parser combinator while at it. I did this to learn Go it was a pleasant experience ngl

I definitely need to look at AoC again. I am currently working on a learning project written in Zig. As part of the project I've decided to write my own libs and I'm currently working on a JSON tokenizer/parser lib. It's been fun so far.
