Vancouver: Single Stair Code + "Villages" Plan Critics will be critics, but the truth is we've never seen single stair urbanism in action in Canada (or most of North America). It's a new thing.

It will be a work in progress, but I think this wholly unique combination of new Planning + Building Code + Zoning is the start of something really transformative for the city, and - eventually - for much of the US and Canada.
