In the days of lovely Twitter I often put out a call for help with research in writing my books. So here goes, Bluskiers. I'm looking for a social worker (adoption/fostering preferably) and a probation officer who worked between 2008 and 2012, the more senior the better. Please share :)

Hi! I was a Senior Probation Officer from 1999 until 2017. Managed two teams. Ended up on the private side. Happy to help!

My partner has worked in probation for almost 20 years and would be happy to help if she can, but only qualified in a more senior probation officer role in 2014. But paging @mariwriter.bsky.social who may have been in role at that time!

Ah, I left probation in 1996. 😱 Just realised that’s almost 30 years ago! Suggest a call to service HQ. I’m sure they could persuade an officer to talk to Kit.
