This is in fact why I think all the copyright defenders on here are just bots and useful idiots who don't realize that they're being played for the purpose of a) Still there being AI and b) Making one of the worst companies in the planet the sole allowed dealer of it.

it is like kind of galling how many people seem totally ride or die for strangling human creativity in the name of saving it, seemingly blissfully unaware of how much of their favorite art - how much of *culture as a whole* - is in large part bricolage composites of other works that came before.
