I haven't really been on here for a few months. I followed the crowd and decamped to Threads, but it's turned out pretty rubbish over there. Just took a look round here and it feels so much more pleasant, but still very quiet. If only I could persuade all the nice people from Threads to come here.

I'm slowly getting more out of Bluesky. Occasionally I put some effort into looking at who people follow to find new people to follow. I also get great value from custom feeds and list to help get away from the 'scrolling through a random list of disparate topics' feeling.

There are a couple of bot accounts on there posting 'now playing' links. I've muted those as they're too noisy. Gradually curating a selection of custom feeds and lists gets me close to the 'forum' feeling where I can decide what I want to read depending on my mood.
