How do folks handle code and data sharing for trainee papers? Linked to the trainee, or PI? I have strong arguments for both approaches in my head, would like to hear any experiences (from either PIs or trainees). 👀

I personally host everything myself, but now as a postdoc with @smfleming.bsky.social I like our lab’s approach in which trainee repos are forked into a github organization once finalized
