As I like collecting data, I recently tried out last.fm and it was quite pleasant. It worked fine… until I tried to listen to INFAMOUS by Ivcomb, YonKaGor, and Stephanfro. Then I realized that it could only record one artist for each listen entry.

Of course, I can't have my metadata be incorrect so now I have switched away from last.fm to listenbrainz.org and found a wonderful little open source ecosystem with free APIs to access all of their metadata :3 I am so happy to have metadata… :3 lmao why am I like this

Last.fm is also run by a corporation that's probably selling my listening history so I mean that's another reason to leave it tbh
