I’m no fan of fElon Musk, but SpaceX is not based on taxpayer dollars or based on Musk’s lies. Starlink accounts for over 60% of its revenue and over 10 million subscribers. Launching satellites and astronauts to the ISS is where govt contracts come in. AI is where all the losses are.

Space X and Starlink are massively subsidized. Starlink just got $700 million from the infrastructure bill. And the IPO's growth projections for Starlink -- from 10 million to 300 million in short order -- are complete fantasy and I say that as somebody that has covered telecom for 25 years
