Saw fish story legend evolve in real time today. Reality: At end of pier a boy caught large red drum, tried to throw it back but fish died. Surfer saw, paddled out to retrieve then paddled back with fish. Next a series of people along pier saw parts & shouted out different stories. Continued…

First person “At least some one is keeping that fish” Second person “that surfer just stole that guys fish!” Third person, “the surfer just caught a fish!” Fourth person, “I think that surfer caught a fish while surfing”
