bucket list item crossed off. Got my hands on a barely touched Icom R8600 receiver. 10 KHz to 3 GHz, all the modes. Hook it up to a computer, plug it into a network. One of the finest receivers ever built. can receive a mouse fart in a hurricane. So very happy. And technically not even a #hamradio !

Very nice tuner! Was only teaching about these the other day. Like an SDR dongle on mega steroids. I just got an IC7300mk2 and the HF reception is amazing, can only imagine that up to 3GHz!
