Just gotta figure out what I'm doing to brace the legs a bit, and I guess whatever I'll be doing so the legs can be taken off (hopefully in chunks) so the workbench can be disassembled / moved as needed.

This is basically what I'm tearing apart. One of those cheap folding tables I've been using as a workbench. Originally I had mounted the vise to it (in a horrendously crappy way), and then placed gallon bottles of water on long planks of wood under it as a weighted shelf.

I ended up disassembling all of that mess and I'm gonna use the table top as the foundation for a slightly better temp workbench (vaguely based on the model I'm working on in blender).

Started filling the holes in my vise jaws before I get set up to drill new, straighter holes w/the drill guide I bought recently. Also gonna make a third block of wood with the same trio of holes to keep the vise straight and reduce racking. (center one first to make sure I can do this right)

The back of the inner vise jaw always had this chunk missing as it was the least-worst random scrap of wood I had on hand. Finally getting around to cutting it out and patching the hole.
