finding out yesterday that the paper mario pc port made by the same team that made ship of harkinian got released, but then immediately after seeing the team has started leaning *hard* into AI coding was some insane whiplash

Its easy to just... not look at any pc port/recomps tbh Sure a few have been good like dusk or DK64 but im just at the point of saying fuck it all roms and emulators are good why do we need these.

I mean I get what you mean, but a good PC port has clear advantages over emulation, such as reduced input lag and much better performance. also I think it's a stretch to call n64 emulators "good" lol, even if they've gotten a lot better in recent years.
