The first app I build with my 8 years old son today hit the App Store. It’s an app to learn new languages, build for kids by a kid. It’s fun, and they can learn vocabulary and conversations they can use with other kids. apps.apple.com/us/app/ling...

Congrats to you both. A kid choosing the words is a real edge: he knows what kids actually say to each other, which adult-made apps usually get wrong. And local-only with no data collection is exactly right for a kids' app. Which part did he enjoy building most?

Thanks! He liked the most building the characters, the puzzles, and that kind of thing. We did it with AI help, and then I’d focus more on the code we had to write. It’s fun!
