"this could have been an email" but it's when you're typing in TOTP and think "this could have been a passkey"

The worst is the sites that have passkeys… and still require TOTP. What are we even doing here. (I never remember which of the handful of sites I log into that are like this, and then I get to them again and they make me angry all over again.)
