Vite 6.0 is out ⚡️ vite.dev/blog/announc...

vite.devAnnouncing Vite 6Vite 6 Release Announcement

@jakebailey.dev

Was so excited to finally use "vite-ignore" on my global scripts, but my project fails to build after upgrading to v6 😭😭😭 "createFileSystem" is not exported by "node_modules/..." Yes it is, it works in vite v5 :((((

@jakebailey.dev

I feel like this is a vite-plugin-comlink problem, I really wish that were upstreamed and kept up to date... I'm not sure there's an alternative out there that does the same thing.

@jakebailey.dev

Hm, no, seems like the problem happens just from using a CJS library within a worker, bleh

Would you create an issue, Jake?

@jakebailey.dev

Yeah, working on it

github.com"is not exported" when importing CJS library from worker, but not outside worker · Issue #18789 · vitejs/viteDescribe the bug I tried to upgrade https://github.com/jakebailey/esbuild-playground to vite v6, but hit an issue with a CJS library I use in a worker. It looks like vite (or rollup?) can't find on...

should be fixed in vite@6.0.1, shoutout to @hiogawa.bsky.social for the quick fix

@jakebailey.dev

Yep, already updated my site! github.com/jakebailey/e... Thanks!!
