Lived in London for decades. Don't drive much but they introduced a new charge to the Blackwall tunnel this year. I didn't notice. First offence got a letter for £180 (Discounted from £360).

I dunno but the way it's currently punished by some (full fare for every journey on the account + £100) is overzealous if someone would still be eligible for the discount had they paid £30 for the card.

The way it currently is some TOCs never check a Railcard so it can be months before anyone even looks at it. Onus should be on the seller to check at purchase tbh, would get rid of a lot of the issues.
