Congrats

Accepts a medal from a WARPIG…..

So we'll deserved Tony!! ❤️

Member of the British Empire!🤘🏼

Congratulations Tony 💐

Sabbath have already had knighthoods for decades in my house. My little un was requesting and rocking out to War Pigs at 18 months.

👏😎 Congratulations!!

Hell Tony, you invented Heavy Metal, and for that alone, it should have been a knighthood. Having said that, these awards are a bucket of shite. Bowie had the right idea....'it isn't what I spent my life working for'.

Thanks for that insight ... 🙄

A great and hugely influential guitarist. Congratulations!

Congratulations Tony on the MBE! What a thrill mate!

Congrats Tony. UTV

It was epic at its peak, Tony. Thank you.

Well done, Tony… your riffs and music has brought pleasure to millions. You helped make the world a better place #honours #music #sabbath #thanks

Congrats! You and the band are legends. I literally can't believe it's taken this long. Your gig at the Ipswich Gaumont theatre in '78 was, I think, my second live concert ever. And whatever happened to the support band at that gig? What was their name? Van Halen, or something like that? 🫣🤣

Congratulations

Good work. 🙏 for your contributions to society. But royal honours are such anachronisms. That, too, referencing the British EMPIRE! Your work IS your honour.

Nah mate, fuck the establishment.

Congrats TI!

Long overdue, but highly deserved!

MBE: “My Bloody Effort” is its alternate name, and is awarded for *personal* contributions, so well done!

His delight at being honoured is the important thing.

Yes I was born in England UK. That's not an 'honour' I chose to accept it's just a fact. I'm more proud to choose to live in Scotland, hence that addition. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah, everyone wants to be part of an Empire, don’t they?

If McCartney and Jagger are called a Sir then so should you. Black Sabbath are up there with the Beatles and the Stones ☝️You are one of my all time music heroes.

Absolutely brilliant. You've brought an immeasurable amount of pleasure to millions.

Many congrats Tony.

My husband says he loves you. Congrats!

The real privilege has been listening to it, Tony! Great to see a Brummie with a gong - it doesn't happen often enough. Well done, sir!

Up the Villa!

If Iron Maiden rates a stamp, you deserve an MBE for making their entire career possible. Congrats.

🤘🥰

Congratulations!

❤️❤️❤️

Congratulations Tony 🎇

One of the greatest of all time. Should have been in arguments for the first recipient.

Whoo-hoo!

Congratulations Tony, well deserved

Should have been a knighthood

Congratulations Tony. Very much deserved.

Totally deserved for a true legend of rock.

Congratulations! Thanks for the music and memories!
