250 years ago, the American people made it clear that they weren’t going to be ruled by kings. On June 14, we’re taking to the streets in a nationwide day of defiance to reject authoritarianism and show the world what democracy really looks like.

On a road trip last week, we passed through a rural town on May Day just in time to witness a small gathering of like-minded individuals in support of democracy. My passenger riding shotgun naively asked, "What does 'No Kings' mean?" I tried not to run over any protesters.

Americans need to inundate Washington. Disrupt his parade. Stand in front of the troops. Make it a spectacle of defiance. This is your Tiananmen moment. Don’t blow it

No. We don’t need to inflate his turnout numbers. He is expecting and inviting violence to spin his way. He has every means possible to not even allow protestors close. If they are allowed in, it is by design. We need to protest elsewhere in the city and country and stay away from his setup.

He will pay zero attention to any protests that are not directly in his face. If he is going to declare martial law or take any other demented actions he needs to see what the result would be.

What might actually make a difference is if June 14 was Day One of a General Strike and a complete media blackout of anything Trump related. Media focuses only on GS, feel good American helping American stories and 100% ignore Trump and his 'parade'. But no way 3.5%is ready to strike-yet.

3.5% won’t do. We need 20 million people persistently in the streets challenging everything this government is doing. We can’t just focus on Trump, it’s all republicans and their donors and supporters. Only 2% of Trump voters regret their decision.

Trump left office with the lowest approval rating ever, right? He failed & left our economy in the toilet. Can't explain how he got back in there other than mass memory loss among the public.

Its also the day that in 1944, B-17 pilot Russell Schroeder stayed at the controls of the shot up aircraft until all of his crew bailed out safely. He then was killed as he tried to bail out himself. Trumps parade spits in the face of such bravery, courage and self sacrifice.

Those that live in or around D.C. should line the streets with protest posters for the whole world to see what we really think of the orange bloated melon felon that cheated his way into the White House. (Hopefully for a very short stay) [Be sure to hide them, & then display them when it starts]
