We received a disturbing e-mail from someone named Nick Waytowich, who claims to have built an Android version of ICEBlock and wants permission to use our name and logo. We immediately responded denying this request. Whatever name he ends up using, he works for the US government. DO NOT TRUST IT.

why don't you ask him to send the source code - maybe he found a way to solve that "no-central-storage" requirement you described the other day and claimed Android cannot do it. (regardless of him being an agent or not)

Oof and possibly just doxxed someone within the government who is actually just trying to HELP 🤦‍♂️ I mean look I would be sus AF too. But this announcement could have been made by simply stating a 3rd party who works in the US gov did x, it's not us and we don't have an android app
