picard realising the time paradox and realising the infinite potential of the human experience to learn and grow and explore within ourselves is such a moving plot point made much funnier that 5 weeks ago his kinda-son became a time travelling super-god because he didn't like his job

The end of Wesley's story arc is so crazy it's like "you can experience infinite self actualization across all of time and space, forever, if you promise to never, ever, ever intervene to help anyone, ever again." And the writers thought that was a good ending for him, and not like, actual hell.

Imagine if we found a new trove of ancient texts like the nag hammadi library and it turned out there was historical verifiable records that a guy called jesus with a dozen ish disciples absolutely loved bocce ball and kept trying to get the disciples into it. and worf was there.

There’s a Vulcan intern in the new season of SNW who decides not to stay on with the Enterprise after her internship expires and it’s treated like some big betrayal and I’m like “ok but she did get stabbed with a knife that turns you into crystals tho”
