honestly best direct of the year. they then spent fifteen minutes doing this for one of the most played-by-everyone games in history. this is so much better than i could have expected

every single nintendo direct is written like its advertising the first video game ever made. in this “game of strategy” you can choose to attack with swords [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a sword] or with spells [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a spell]

After 40 years, Nintendo have finally developed the technology to move the camera freely and also "jump" at the press of a "button", they're hoping this development will take gaming in bold new directions.

Weird if so that they put so much emphasis on the "improvements" they made to the original like "jump button" and "move camera". I wouldn't expect any of that to be meaningful to anyone who hasn't played oot.
