Really excited for this new era where RAGE will finally get its due

I think Rage's gameplay and enemy design is really solid, combat encounters are very good, and the vehicle combat is cool. Its the shame the rest of the game is very boring and it basically has no story.

every time! The shooting is fun! You spend most of the game shooting! IDK why the game isn't fun given the previous two sentences? Do not say "story" IDK what that is.

Ok so I can explain this. The setting is about as stock post apocalypse as you can get, like in a way where nothing about it really aesthetically stands out exactly. It's also got the same kind of world map design as a 3d zelda game, but its not even close to as fun and interesting to explore..

...it also just....doesnt have a ending. theres no actual buildup to the finale of the game it kinda just stops, its really strange. My only hot take is that its still a better game than Rage 2 lol. Rage 2's combat is better but its a ubisoft open world game in the worst ways.

It really is like that though lol Also bafflingly it has deathmatch, but its vehicles only. Hop online and play fake Id software twisted metal. Its also got MW2 spec ops co op mode for some reason.

The online was super fun! It also had a weirdly fun card minigame too!

I do really wish i got to actually play the multiplayer I just couldnt afford xbox live at the time, and no one is playing it now. I really need to trick a discord server into hopping online into it to get some games in.
