there are lots of popular things that aren't for me. that's normal. but watching the GTA 6 hype from outside the bubble feels different. what do you mean there's a gameplay reveal exclusive to netflix. why is the tone of every announcement if this game doesn't sell 100 million copies we're all dead

i think it's easy to put together that rockstar is throwing ideas at a wall to fix their rep after the last GTA's flop and the hate they're getting for GTA 6 not being out yet

Wait hold on back tf up how is GTA 5, a game only outsold by Minecraft and maybe Tetris, a flop?

Honestly idk how good this will work, since the online not only has to work by itself but ALSO bring over sll the people that over years have spend thousands in the Gta5 online mode which naturally will be a lot more complete atp

I think it's gonna be fine on that front, it should work like a new installment in any multi-player franchise (Mario Kart, Street Fighter, CoD) where the majority of active players move to the new one. 5's microtransactions may affect this though, I've met people who spent thousands on it.

Oh yeah I forgot that Red Dead Online even existed lmao. Goofy behavior to look at one of the most critically and commercially acclaimed games ever made and say "well the shoehorned online we only made because GTA did it was bad so it's a failure"
