I'm planning to create a personal blog with Astro, anyone can share their experience? #webdev #js #svelte

I've been a happy Astro user for years. Migrated from Gatsby and it was mostly painless. Astro updates are usually easy to apply. It feels refreshing to only introduce JS when necessary, and the `.astro` files are "Good enough" ™️ for most things.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will give it a try. I know in Astro you can use svelte or react components, but can I just build purely on astro components?

If you don't need (or need very minimal) client side reactivity you absolutely can

Worked pretty well when I last tried that, worked flawlessly with svelte together and content collections are great, plus astro has pretty solid docs too. There’s also lots of of pre-built themes both paid and free if you don’t want to start from scratch: astro.build/themes/1/

astro.buildThemes | AstroAstro builds fast content sites, powerful web applications, dynamic server APIs, and everything in-between.
