I would really like to try all those cool new ATProto apps, but not give everyone root access to my account... (sorry, don't want to single out this one in particular, it happened to me for multiple apps today, and I always stopped at this point 😩 I hope more granular permissions become the norm)

That is totally fair and same! These are definitely prototypes we are releasing, and will be polishing stuff like this in the coming weeks.

Noice! Yeah ironically for prototypes I'm more hesitant to hand out full perms, although it's super understandable from the dev side of things that this wouldn't be the first concern. I wish PDSes would just let you create a virtual sandbox for a specific app or something, them it's up to the user.

Yeah that makes sense. Since habitat is hosting a private repo right now, I need to think a bit on what scopes we need from the PDS (might be expansive) and also how to communicate that for each of our apps, which actually auth with habitat and not PDS! Definitely thinking about this.
