LMAO at the dojo last publishing an article in 2001 and still having the 4th most articles. Welp, guess its time to go read a bunch of old tournament reports for the props and slops sections.

I don't know how accessible it is via Wayback, but MTGOTraders used to have articles. I think @nerdtothecore.com wrote for them. I wrote a couple (pretty bad) articles. I did get paid, at least, which is more than I can say for some places.

You can click through to the Wayback Machine and read them there today. I'd love to get permission from WotC to reprint their stuff (or convince them to put it back online themselves), but I'm not holding my breath.

Can I suggest adding Legit MTG from the Wayback Machine? I was looking for articles about Full Box Sealed since one of my LGS does it for the Saturday evening event during prerelease weekends and the only one I found was mentioned on an archived Reddit post and the site no longer exists. (cont'd)

Boxing League looks cool and I'd love a shop to run one for prerelease too. This was still only a 40 card minimum deck, just using a full box. No commander and still 1v1. It's one of my favorite things to do prerelease weekend at @lodestonecg.bsky.social

Thanks a lot! If you're open to it (and if you're the relevant rights-holder), I'd love to get your permission to start re-hosting the old Neutral Ground articles - happy to chat more over email, gregor@library-of-leng.com.

Yeah, I've got it all in my database and cleaned up, just need permission to flip the "okay to rehost" switch. (I'd still ask all the individual authors for permission, both to be a nice guy and because copyright law is complicated.)

If you're an author who'd like to make your old writing more accessible, please reach out to me here or over email: gregor@stocks-books.com. Please also let me know if you want anything corrected or removed.

For the time being I'm focused on sites with multiple authors - happy to throw personal blogs in the backlogs, but it might be a long time before I get to them.

Feature request: let me sort authors by last name, not just number of posts. I know there's search, but it's fun to just scroll through the authors, too...except they're in an order that is not very useful.

This is epic. What a great resource. Thank you for doing this! So much of my foundational understanding of Magic comes from articles early in the life of Magic. I'm so glad to be able to go back and read them!

Telling me about bugs you find or sites I'm missing is the main thing. If you happen know the owners of any of the no-longer-online sites and can convince them to let me re-host their stuff (with approval from the authors), that'd be amazing, but not holding my breath there.

I used to write for magicgatheringstrat.com back in the day. I wonder if those articles are still available? I’ll have to check the way back machine. If so, I would like to submit them. Not sure if people would want to see them, but it would be nice to have them preserved somewhere.

Jeeez yeah I see it. It has my old commander articles about Shirei and Eldrich Moon 😭 that was a whole gender ago. It’s nice to see them even with the deadname.

@theferrett.bsky.social Aaaah, this finally let me find a little thing I've been trying to find for decades! "Pro Tour: Tinker is held in Tinker Orleans. Tinker Mindslaver Tinker, Rickard Osterberg, Tinker Tinker ban that f**king card Grim Monolith Tinker."
