Discussions around AI have devolved so much there is absolutely no room for nuance anymore. There is no space for conversations about what the future should look like. And because of that, big AI companies will continue to set the standard for themselves.

What "nuance" are you hoping for? The current batch of pseudo-AI LLMs and image diffusion systems is without merit, built on IP theft, profligate in its use of resources, owned by some of the worse robber barons of our era.
