With @satanacchio.bsky.social's work on stabilizing type stripping in @nodejs.org, will it become reasonable to ship modules in all their @typescriptlang.org -native glory?

Transpiling and running the .js will always be better for performance. And for now its not possible to run .ts in the node_modules.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm totally willing to take the one-time cost (per boot) of the transpilation. Bummer that node_modules are excluded for now though I think I can see why that's the right choice. Maybe a follow-up flag or `package.json` field could allow an opt-in in the future?
