Still trying to learn & practice some Japanese daily, lately focusing on writing & memorizing Kanji. Anyone have suggestions on good resources for learning Japanese? Currently using Kanji Study and Duolingo, looking into Todaii as well. It seems hard to find reference for written Kanji as well 🤔

If you want to focus on kanji then KanjiStudy (which you're using) is great. What do you mean by reference for written kanji? Like calligraphy or handwriting? Or a book where you can practice your own writing?

Reference for handwritten kanji, I wonder how characters would look if written casually or rushed. Kind of feel like I might end up with a handwriting style that resembles a computer font (without the consistency/neatness 😂). I only found an ancient? writing search: mojiportal.nabunken.go.jp/ja/

Ohh, I see. So many people type using phones that not many people worry about handwriting. But there might be some books. I'm curious now. Hard to tell if a Japanese website is old or just...Japanese. Many look like that XD

Ah, I meant that the pictures of characters found on that website seem to be from historical/ancient writing. But I know what you mean, in this case ancient applies to both page and content 😅
