Reading JD Vance’s new book so you don't have to. The Peter Thiel erasure is comical! Vance awkwardly writes his patron out of the script. One moment, he's in law school. Then he's magically in Silicon Valley for a few sentences. Poof! Then he's a senator. Who paid for it, JD? Who made ya, son?

I've heard of women that slept with men to get to the top but never heard of a man fucking other men to get to the top. Seems to have worked well for Vance. 🤷

No mention of Mithril, Narya, Andreessen, Yarvin. No mention of how a fake hillbilly gets Silicon Valley royalty to invest tens of millions of dollars into his business career and political rise. That would actually be interesting in a memoir. Nope, he skips the critical, juicy details.

In “Hillbilly Fiction,” JD Vance erased the Ohio Republican State Senator who helped him get ahead at Ohio State. Vance also refuses to discuss the details of his meeting Usha Chilukuri.

Vance owes his VP job in large part to Thiel, so there must be a reason—political, of course—for him to leave Thiel out of it. For someone who denigrates elites, Vance didn’t resist becoming one, did he?

He's truly preparing to be the King and he plans on erasing his backdoor patron literally. Peter hates this guy like everyone else and JD is sucking it up for now, he's waiting to pay back which might never happen.
