from what I understand its slightly weaker than a base PS5. Valve I think kinda made a stretch saying all AAA titles running at 4k 60fps. I imagine that might be an easier metric to reach if you just stick to 1080p. And none of these AAA titles will be at max graphics. Medium or high settings.

Honestly when I saw the comparison of some games on Steam machine vs ps5 I genuinely couldn't tell the differences all of my game library is just older AAA titles I got on sale or indie games

personally it is an upgrade from my ancient 2019 gaming PC (GTX 1650 with 24gb of DDR3 RAM) and the small form factor will free up a ton of real estate on my desk. But the price and the fact I can't really upgrade it later aside from RAM and storage makes me kind of unsure. Idk how to tinker anyway.
