It would have taken only 10 in 2021 to prevent this. The vote to convict him in the Senate was 57-43. There are more than 10 Republican senators up for reelection this year, although two of those (Cassidy, Collins) did vote to convict.

I agree this is the correct vote, but remember ICE is already massively funded from the Big Fucking Bill Last year, which isn’t affected by this appropriations process. The real vote they should be taking is impeachment and 25th. Removal is the only path forward at this point.
