Howdy folks! We know everyone is coming off the high of a big con and excited to find and share photos. In order for our team of volunteers to get your images processed ASAP We thought we'd put out a few helpful tips! First we highly recommend reading over both the upload and tagging guidelines!

When it comes to uploading photos, please be sure to only upload photos of fursuits! We know you can take some lovely photos of locations and other events, but please ensure that each photo contains a fursuit and meets the minimum size requirements (800px on the longest side.)

We hope to expand to include all convention photography later on once we can add additional programming to the site to handle images that do not need to be tagged.

Another tip for uploading is please cull your photos for near identical photos. Please choose your favorite one or two of each subject/pose combo and not upload your entire camera roll. This will greatly help out us mods when approving photos if there isn't 5 of the same shot.

If you were at a con, it is also helpful to tag the con using their tag. This will help other people look for themselves at events they attended. For established events, please look to prior events for the proper formatting. Most fur cons are their hashtag and the year (mff2024).

Tags you setup in the uploader apply to every photo in that upload batch. So please only apply tags that are common to every photo in your upload batch. If you have many photos, consider only tagging the photographer and the event, then go to your profile to tag each character.

Character tags are to be the name of the character, not the person's online handle. The name you would see on their ref sheet. Every character gets only 1 tag, with an exception for suits of characters from movies/TV/games for example Fox McCloud or Death from Puss in Boots

If you have a common character name, be sure the tag you are applying is actually that fursuit and not someone else with a similar name! Common names should be disambiguated using the format name_(species) and adding additional identifiers as necessary.

Lastly if you have an account, you can claim your own tags in account settings under account linking. NOTE: This is for tags that are YOU. For example if you did not make your fursuit, do not link your maker's tag to your profile. Photographers also be sure to claim your tag!
