That's like making guns illegal. Someone who is willing to break the law to MURDER - will be willing to break the law with gun ownership. Anyone willing to use a drone as a makeshift BOMB would certainly be willing to break city laws banning the drone.

Explain please - how is my claiming that anti-drone laws isn't going to stop someone committed to using them as weapons from doing so... How does that make my brain "broken" - especially like a republican? We have laws against guns in schools - doesn't stop school shootings. Evidence is on my side

While I agree that anti-drone laws and anti gun laws don’t stop illegal activity. Hacking hospitals is illegal and people do it anyways. But, if you limit the access to guns on a broader scale, typically you do have less school pew pews. Lovingly from Canada. (Not sarcasm! It’s all hard!)

YES! If they were illegal throughout the country (like guns being illegal throughout UK) then it could be an effective deterrent through the difficulty in obtaining one... BUT, a CITY making it illegal does very little, and even a STATE isn't helpful as you drive 4 hours and get one. (or by mail)
