I added a little feature on nightsky.hctr.dev 👀 You can add a bsky handle to the URL to highlight new posts from that user! Just add "?u=<handle>" to the end of the URL. For example: nightsky.hctr.dev?u=hctr.dev These stars will have a different colour and won't disappear until you refresh ⭐

My next challenge is to allow clicking on a star to open the post it relates to. I know that is something people have been asking about! Just haven't quite figured out a good way to do it yet.

Pretty cool, but I found it too hard to see new posts in the stars tbh. I think you need to either adjust the color a bit, or make it flashier so it's easier to spot.

It might be a firefox bug actually, its completely fine on my other browsers. :) On firefox (with my plugins I have a lot of issues with different sites), the yellow didn't show up. But in a fresh firefox browser it did. So I think you did great!

Thanks for letting me know! That is interesting 🤔 It's just a div with a background colour, so I would imagine it would "just work", but I guess that is part of the "fun" of webdev 🥲
